Our Products

This is our product list of the things we are currently harvesting for our farmers markets. Current open markets-Oak marr (Wednesday market), Annendale and Herndon (Thursday Markets). Reston, Falls church, and Vienna (Saturday markets). Cascades and Cameron Station (Sunday Markets). Green Tomatoes, Heirloom and Red cherry tomatoes. Bell, Hot, and sweet peppers. Slicing and pickings Cucumbers. Patty-pan and summer squash, grey, banana, butter and green Zucchini. Yukon gold new potatoes and green beans. eggplant and sweet onions. It is best to reorder on Saturday for our weekend markets so me have time to get back to you quicker.

Tomatoes & Cherry Tomatoes

One of our Biggest sellers and one of the things we are most known for, our tomatoes. Our tomatoes come is a variety of shapes, colors, and amazing flavors. Red tomatoes, heirloom Tomatoes, plum and yellow. Cherry tomatoes yellow, red, and heirloom. All Feild grown and picked ripe, for the best tasing tomatoes we could offer.

Fresh Herbs

One of the smallest ingredients to a meal, but one of the most important and biggest and impacting flavor.We’re proud to offer our customers seasonal Herbs all hand picked fresh from our farm.

Squash, Eggplant, and  Cuccumbrs

Crunchy, sweet, tender, and fresh all things that describe our squash, eggplant and cucumbers. picked from small baby squash and zucchini to large, to offer a more variety of amazing dishes to be made.

  • Squash- summer squash, patty-pan squash, green zucchini, middle eastern zucchini

  • Eggplant- White eggplant, Italian, Japanese

Peppers

From all colors of the rainbow to sweet to spicy, we grow these fresh and delisous peppers.

Summer Melons

One of the best things to look forward to about summer is watermelon and cantaloupe season. Our sweet and juicy melons are perfect for a summer time cookout or a healthy filling snack.

Fresh Greens

Ether you are adding a fresh crunch to your sandwich or making a colorful salad our greens are perfect. With so many of our varieties of greens there are plenty of recipes to use them for.

  • Kale- Dinosaur, Scarlet red, Curly

  • Lettuce- Romain, Purple Cherokee, Green,

Root Vegetables and Kholorabi

There is much more to enjoy beneath the surface. Beneath the unassuming and often bland exterior, root vegetables can have a surprising depth in flavor. Kohlrabi "cabbage turnip" at first glance it appears to be a root vegetable, but grows above ground.

Fresh Green Beans

Beans and Peas

Nothing could compare to fresh picked green beans and snap peas. They are so tender and crisp they could be enjoyed raw abd prepared in a vast variety of ways.

  • Beans- Green, Purple, Wax yellow

  • Sugar snap peas

Vegetable A,B,C's

Asparagus, Broccoli, and cauliflower are wonderful as a side piece to a meal, added to a healthy stew, or roasted to perfection. There are no limits to the ways to prepare these vegetables.

Though the season for strawberries is Short, they definitly are sweet.

Markets and how we will be handling them amid COVID19

With growing concern and social distancing amid COVID19, we and the farmers markets are making sure we will still be able to enjoy fresh produce and products from the market while still be safe.

About Our Farm

J&W Valley View Farm is a local family run farm that has been producing delicious and fresh products since 1992. Our farm is located in Westmorland County and in total is 50 acres. We start planting  all our produce in greenhouses starting the end of January and the start transplanting  in March, following by our picking starting in May, along with the opening of our farmer markets that you can see in our farmer markets calendar.

We strive to make the most of everything the great outdoors has to offer. Our produce are fresh from the feild, so you can be sure you are buying the best quality produce.
